After the establishment of the screen plant, SCOTON closely cooperated with Halliburton in term of technology. Our technology and quality management system is certified by Halliburton. In 2009, we became one certified supplier of screen pipe for Halliburton in the global market. We also dream one day we can represent not only Halliburton bu also China screen pipe.
By now, we have supplied more than 30,000m of screen and are highly recognized by Halliburton.
Structure of Composite Mesh Screen Pipe
- Regular composite screen has multi-layer construction
- Base pipe is perforated casing or tubing pipe
- Filter media is multiple layer composite metal meshes
- Multihole or multislot Outer Shroud protect the filter media
Advanced Composite screen is a modified product based on regular composite screen. Its main advantages compared with regular composite screen are as follow:
- Added inner shroud raise pressure resistance Generally 3 layers of metal mesh
- Unique extrusion technique, make the structure more simple and reliable
- Reduced welding work enhance the reliability of the product
SCOTON premium composite screen is designed to provide high solids retention and plugging resistance capacity, its multi-layered construction is ideal for a wide range of sand control applications, advantages are as follows:
- Outside shroud pipe can protect filter layer and drainage layer from abrasive erosion, to prolong the service period;
- The alternative placement of filter mesh and drainage layer mesh can enlarge the channel of oil and gas, enhance anti-clogging performance;
- High filtration precision, high strength, high reliability;
- Acid and alkali-resistant, suitable to complex well conditions such as high angle deviated well, horizontal well, branch well and thermal well;
- Simple construction, small OD, low weight, convenient manufacturing
Application of Composite Mesh Screen Pipe
- Reservoir with D10/D95≤10 & D40/D90≤5 & sub 44 micron ≤ 5%;
- Cased hole, open hole especially, gravel pack and frac pack application as well;
- High production rate well with electric submerged pump; water source well;
- High temperature high pressure well and corrosive well;
- Overhaul completion.
